Paper and an electric motor to swivel the folded, round fan-shaped paper that was inspired by the cotton fields.
This was a period where Carlo, her son, was an expat working as a microelectronis designer for Texas Instruments.
He had rented a house in front of a cotton field from the De Tournillon's, manager of a local TV station.
